We begin with your bundle of worries, dreams, and plans for your home. We smooth out the hard parts. Add some beauty to the ideas. Everybody agrees. This is going to be wonderful.
Then we take it from there.
Residential homes
We believe in trusting you to know what you want. We might suggest, inspire, take the burden off a difficult choice - but ultimately we are your champions. We are going to make real that home you always knew was there for you.
Commercial concepts
If you have a commercial project just slightly off the beaten path of the usual, we are the brainy, kindly, creative gunslingers who can make the project happen before its due date. And with budget and goals intact.
Dream & then Some Remodels
Maybe you're not looking for bliss in your kitchen. Or a steamy Amazonian feel in your shower. But a lot of our client friends are. We do things like that. Make you happy every time you grill, walk outside, or go take a bath.
Praise for a recently completed project in the magazine
House Beautiful.
Q & A with Scott Mosenson
About his work on the Spanish Revival home featured in House Beautiful
Q: Was it extremely challenging to execute a house with this level of design detail?
SM: I always enjoy elevated detail work. It’s challenging…but in the best possible way.
Q: Were any of the design or architectural ideas more beautiful than practical and how did you marry form and function?
SM: Great question! There were several times the design team would come up with ideas and say, “Scott, not sure if this is possible…but please figure out a way to build it!” It was really fun to find a path to make the purely aesthetic, functional.
Q: What was the communication process like with the design team and you?
SM: It was very good! There were times when I would have liked more input, but it’s also really exciting to be set free and told show us what you come up with!
Q: Were there budgetary issues that came up with such bespoke elements?
SM: Of course! The great thing was that the clients understood that this level of design comes at an elevated cost. As a builder who always tries to bring value, I sometimes find it hard to see clients spend money on an element you’ll never see, like super expensive in-wall plumbing valves, but the results speak for themselves.
Q: Were the clients pleased with the end results?
SM: The clients consistently used the word “magical” throughout the entire process. Everyone was over the moon with the end results!
Q: I noticed the article doesn't name you. Why is that?
SM: Hahaha, yeah…as a general rule, House Beautiful and other design-driven magazines focus more on the designer’s and architect’s visions and not on the execution of those visions. I’m fine with that. When the designers do their own posts about the article I am credited by them and that’s enough for me.
